This summer is an exciting one for sports! England’s women’s football team are looking to become world champions, while the men will be defending their 50-over World Cup title in India. There’s also a men’s rugby union World Cup, and both men’s and women’s Ashes cricket series. The first of these events starts in September – so get ready to cheer on Team England!
This February, the women in England and Ireland will be competing in the T20 World Cup in South Africa. Plus, there is a big Sports Championship in Budapest called World Athletics along with a Netball World Championship taking place in Cape Town. Finally, this August there will be special event where you can watch some of the world’s greatest riders compete for 13 titles at the World Cycling Championships held in Glasgow.
The fall season includes two huge golf tournaments called the Solheim Cup and the Ryder Cup. Europe’s women will be playing to keep their trophy in Spain while Europe’s men are trying to win back the cup from the United States.
Worldwide Sporting Events That You Cannot Miss!
From February 10th to 26th, there will be a Cricket Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa. Then from February 4th until March 18th, a Men’s Six Nations Rugby Union tournament will take place. Following that, the Women’s Six Nations will occur from March 25th till April 29th. On April 15th, the Grand National Horse Race at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool will also happen. The World Championship Snooker Tournament will be held at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre from April 15th to May 1st. Last but not least on 14th May the Women’s FA Cup final football match takes place at Wembley Stadium.
3rd June: Football – Big match at Wembley Stadium for the Men’s FA Cup, and another big match at the Hampden Park for the Men’s Scottish Cup; Women’s Champions League final taking place in Philips Stadion (in Eindhoven).
10th June: Football – Super important Men’s Champions League final game happening in Ataturk Olympic Stadium (located in Istanbul).
16th June to 31st July: Cricket -Men will be fighting it out during the Ashes.
22nd June to 18th July: Cricket – This time, it’s the women who will be competing during their own version of Ashes.
1st July to 23rd July: Cycling- Tour de France race is happening!
3rd July to 16th July: Tennis – Wimbledon tournament starting soon!
8th July to 17th July: Para-athletics – World Championships getting ready to start in Paris.
9th July: Formula 1 – British Grand Prix time! Taking place at Silverstone Circuit.
From July 20th-23rd, the Open Championship golf tournament will be held at Royal Liverpool in Hoylake. From July 20th to August 20th, the Women’s World Cup of football will be held between Australia and New Zealand.
The Tour de France Femmes cycling event runs from July 23rd-30th, while a week later, Netball’s World Cup will start on July 28th, taking place this year in Cape Town, South Africa!
On July 31st until August 6th the Para-swimming World Championships will take place in Manchester. The date for The Hundred cricket game is still TBA. Lastly, from August 3rd-13th the Cycling World Championships will be held in Glasgow; with the Women’s Open golf tournament running from August 10th – 13th over at Walton Heath!
Between August 19 and 27, athletes from all over the world will come together to compete in Athletics Championships in Budapest. Then, starting September 8 until October 28, there will be a Rugby Union Men’s World Cup that takes place in France.
On September 12 a football match between Scotland and England will be held at Hampden Park to celebrate the sport’s 150th anniversary. Moving on, between September 22 and 24 golf players from all over the world are going to gather in Malaga, Spain for the Solheim Cup.
The Ryder Cup is also coming up soon! This golf tournament happens between September 29 and October 1 at Marco Simone Golf Club in Italy. Lastly, later this year during October or November (the exact dates aren’t yet decided), India will host the Cricket Men’s World Cup Tournament!

3rd to 9th December
From the 3rd to 9th December there are some really cool sports events that you can check out!
On the 6th – 9th will be the FA Cup third round of Football. Then from 8th – 15th December, it’s time for The Masters snooker tournament at Alexandra Palace, London as well as World Championship Final darts. On 10th – 11th December is the League Cup quarter-finals of Football and then on the same dates England face Jamaica in Netball matches. Don’t forget about Golf with the Hero Cup which is on 13th -15th December between Continental Europe and Great Britain & Ireland at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Additionally, Men’s Hockey World Cup at Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, India will be held from 13 – 29 December. For a finale, on 14 December we get to watch the Scottish League Cup semi-final match between Celtic and Kilmarnock.
On 15th Jan, there’s a Rangers football match against Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup semi-final. From 16th onwards till 29th, it’s time for the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne. The Scottish Cup fourth round will be held on 21st-22nd. The Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships will take place from 22 Jan to 5 Feb at St Moritz in Switzerland. 25th and 26th have semi-finals of the Football League Cup and Women’s League Cup quarter-finals on those days as well. On 27th, South Africa is playing England in a one-day cricket match at Bloemfontein. And from 27th to 30th, it’s the FA Cup fourth round for football lovers.
On January 28th, at Wembley stadium, Artur Beterbiyev and Anthony Yarde will fight for the IBF, WBC and WBO light-heavyweight world titles. On January 29th, there is a cricket match between South Africa and England at Bloemfontein. Basketball players will also be competing for the BBL Cup Finals in Birmingham Arena that same day. Additionally, on January 29th, it’s going to be the fourth round of Women’s FA Cup football matches. The NFL Conference Championships will alsoed be taking place meanwhile. Lastly, between January 29th and February 5th skaters from around the world will be competing in the Street World Championships in Sharjah.
25th February – Various Sports Events Around the World, From Athletics to Rugby Union and Football!
On 1st day, there was a cricket match between South Africa and England. On the next two days, the League Cup Semi-finals second legs and Club World Cup in Morocco had taken place. The fourth day witnessed Davis Cup Qualifying Round by Colombia against Great Britain, followed by two rugby matches on 5th- Wales vs Ireland & England vs Scotland. And lastly, on 5 to 12th day Skateboarding’s Park world Champions in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates took place.
Winter Sports: At the Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel-Meribel, France (6-19).
Football: Semi-finals of the Women’s League Cup are happening (8-9).
Cycling: People can join the European Track Championships which is held at Grenchen, Switzerland (8-12).
Basketball: Great Britain will compete against Estonia during WomenEuroBasket 2023 Qualifier at Manchester on 9th.
Cricket: Women’s T20 World Cup is ongoing in South Africa till 26th.
Ruggy Union: Ireland will be fighting with France and Scotland will be going up against Wales on 11 and England against Italy on 12 for a chance to win Six Nations trophy.
Football: It’s also the fifth round of Scottish Cup (11-12).
February 12th is a big day for American sports fans! The Super Bowl will take place in Arizona at State Farm Stadium.
Women’s basketball also has an important game that same day – Great Britain and Portugal will be playing each other in the EuroBasket 2023 qualifier in Manchester.
The Pinatar Cup, which happens between February 13-23, might be of interest to international sports fans. This football (soccer) competition involves teams from Scotland, Wales, Iceland and the Philippines.
February 14th and 15th are both important dates for European football as last 16 matches for the Champions League will occur during these two days.
Finally, February 16th is when europa league and europa conference league knockout round play-offs have their first legs.
England is playing Belgium, Italy, and Korea Republic in a football (soccer) tournament which will be held in three different cities – Milton Keynes, Coventry, and Bristol.
The Rugby League season will also be starting with Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos on the same day.
On that week, there’s also the first Test Cricket between New Zealand and England which is to take place at Mount Maunganui.
And lastly, St Helens will play against Penrith Panthers (the NRL champions) from Australia on 18th in Penrith Stadium located in New South Wales.
18: Athletics – There will be a World Cross Country Championships in Bathurst, Australia.
18-19: Athletics – The UK Indoor Championships will take place at Birmingham Arena.
19 Feb-5 March: Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships will occur in Bakuriani, Georgia.
21-22: Football – The Champions League last 16 matches (1st leg) are going to start.
23: Football – Some of the Europa League + Europa Conference League knockout round play-off second legs will take place this day.

On the 25th of February, there are various different sporting events happening around the world. Get Ready to Watch! An Eventful Month of Sport Matches and Competitions
On the 1st of March, there will be a cricket match between Bangladesh and England in Mirpur. That same day, there is also the fifth round of a Football tournament called the FA Cup. From 2-5th March, Athletics European Indoor Championships will take place in Istanbul. Another Cricket match between Bangladesh and England will take place on 3rd March at Mirpur again. Then on 5th March, you can watch the Bahrain Grand Prix in Formula 1 race in Sakhir and afterwards, cheer for your favorite team at the Women’s League Cup Final football game which is happening at Selhurst Park. The Tokyo Marathon is also taking place on 5th march. Lastly, from 6-8 March we have the second legs of a Champions League Football tournament that we can look forward to enjoying!

9: Two football tournaments – the Europa League and the Europa Conference League – have reached the last 16 round, with their first leg matches starting today.
9-12: There’s a golf tournament called The Players Championship happening in Sawgrass, Florida.

11: Rugby Union games – Italy v Wales and England v France – are also scheduled for today.
11-12: Scottish Cup quarter-finals are also on the menu today!
12: Another cricket game between Bangladesh and England is taking place in Mirpur too!
This week, there are lots of sport events that you can watch. On Sunday, Scotland will play against Ireland in the Rugby Union Six Nations. On Thursday and through to Sunday, there’s the Cheltenham Festival for Horse Racing. Don’t forget about the Bangladesh vs England third Twenty20 International match on Thursday as well!
If football is more your thing then on Thursday and Sunday there are Champions League and Europa League second leg matches. The same goes for Para-swimming World Series which runs from Friday until Monday in Sheffield. Finally, Scotland will face Italy, France face Wales and Ireland take on England in rugby union on Tuesday.
On April 18, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fans can attend the UFC 286 match at London’s O2 Arena. On the same day, those who enjoy Football will be able to watch the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. From the 18th to 26th of April, there’s an international Curling tournament taking place in Sandviken, Sweden. On April 19th, people interested in Women’s Football can head to watch their own version of the FA cup quarter-finals. Between April 20th and 26th, Figure Skaters will compete against each other at the World Championships in Japan’s Saitama. 21st and 22nd are scheduled for Women’s Champions League first-leg matches while European Championship qualifying starts on 23rd with Italy v England and San Marino v Northern Ireland matches. Finally, ending off this eventful week is British Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool from 23rd-26th .
On the 25th, there’s a football match between Croatia and Wales, and another one between Scotland and Cyprus. Also, for rugby union fans, there are matches for women’s six nations where Wales plays Ireland and England plays Scotland.
The next day, 26th of June, in football you can watch England versus Ukraine, and Northern Ireland against Finland. In addition to that, Italy will take on France in a rugby union game. Plus don’t forget the Boat Races that happen on the same day on the River Thames.
Finally, 28th of June brings yet another set of soccer games with Scotland playing Spain and Wales facing Latvia.
During March 29-30, Football – Women’s Champions League quarter-final matches are taking place. After that, from March 31 to April 2 Rugby Union – European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup last 16 games will be going on.
This Week
This week, various sports competitions are happening all around the world. On February 1, Ireland and France will compete in a Women’s Six Nations Rugby Union match and men from all over the world will be competing in Curling at the World Championships in Ottawa, Canada. The next day, England and Italy will go head to head also in Women’s Six Nations Rugby Union while Formula 1 drivers will race each other at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
From April 4 to 9th, swimmers will take part in the British Championships while on 6th of April, women players of England and Brazil will battle it out at Wembley Stadium during their Finalissima Game. During these days too, golfers from across the globe are set to compete in Augusta National Golf course located in Georgia for the Masters Tournament. Lastly, quarter-finals of European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup rugby union matches will start on 7th of April till 9th.
Between 11th and 12th, the Champions League quarter-final matches will take place. From the 11th to 16th of April, the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships will be held in Turkey. On the 13th, both the Europa League and Europa Conference League quarters start. The 15th sees Aintree Racecourse housing the legendary Grand National horse race as well as Wales playing against England and Italy battling it out with Ireland in a Women’s Six Nations rugby match. For almost three weeks from 15 April to 1 May, Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre will host snooker’s World Championship tournament and finally on the 16th, we’ll witness two Women’s FA Cup semi-finals being played.
On 16th April there is a Women’s Six Nations rugby match between France and Scotland. On the same day, the Boston Marathon will take place. From 17th to 23rd April, there is an Ice Hockey tournament for Women’s World Championship Division I Group B in South Korea. On 18th and 19th April, Football Champions League quarter-finals second legs are being held, as well as Football Europa League and Conference League quarter-finals second leg on 20th April. There is a Women’s Major Golf Tournament, called Chevron Championships which takes place from 20th to 23rd April in Woodlands, Texas. Finally from 21st to 29th April a mini Hockey tournament between Great Britain men and women teams against New Zealand and Australia will be held in Christchurch.

Epic Sports Festival
From 4th to 8th of May, there’ll be Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire, followed by a Diamond League Athletics event in Qatar on the 5th. Then from 6th to 28th there’ll be a Giro d’Italia Cycling event. On 7th May, you can watch Formula 1’s United States Grand Prix in Miami and Judo World Championships in Qatar between 7-14. Football fans must not miss Champions League semi-finals first legs on 9-10 and Europa League & Europa Conference League semi-final first legs on 11. Ice Hockey enthusiasts can catch World Championship for men happening in Finland and Latvia from 12 to 21st May. Last but not least, the Women’s FA Cup Final will be at Wembley Stadium on 14 May.
Between 16th to 17th May, the Champions League semi-finals second legs football match is going to take place. On 18th May, two more football competitions, the Europa League and Europa Conference League semi-finals will also be taking place.
US PGA Championship golf tournament is happening from 18-21st May at Oak Hill Country Club in New York and the European Challenge Cup Rugby Union final is going to take place at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 19th of May. At the same time, Rugby league’s Challenge Cup last 16 matches are occurring from 19-21st May.
On 20th May, The European Champions Cup rugby union final is set to take place at Aviva Stadium in Dublin and The Night Of 10,000M PBs athletics tournament in London will also occur this day.
Soon, different sports events will be taking place around the world. On May 20-21, Rugby Union World Sevens Series will be in London. Table Tennis World Championships will be held in Durban, South Africa from May 20 to 28. Formula 1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is going to be held on May 21 in Imola. Rowing European Championships is going to take place from May 25-28 at Bled, Slovenia. On the same days (May 26-28), Cycling Women’s World Tour: RideLondon Classique event will also take place. From May 26th to June 4th there will be a mini tournament of Hockey GB Men and Women Pro League versus Belgium, China, and India at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London. Finally Taekwondo World Championships are happening in Baku, Azerbaijan between May 26 – June 3.
This upcoming weekend and the start of next week are full of exciting sports events! On Saturday 27th, rugby fans can watch the Premiership final at Twickenham. Plus, there will be Football play-off finals at Wembley Stadium from Saturday to Monday. Sunday 28th has loads going on too, with Formula 1 racing in Monte Carlo, athletics in Morocco, motorsport in Indianapolis, and the last rounds of both Premier League Football and Women’s Super League Football fixtures. From 28th May until 11th June you’ll be able to see the French Open tennis tournament happening in Paris. There’s also going to be international surfing championships in El Salvador the following week (30th May – 7th June). And don’t forget the Europa League final which is taking place on Thursday 31st at Puskas Arena in Budapest.
June Is Sports Month
From 1st to 4th June, lots of exciting sports events are taking place all over the world!
On 1st June, the NBA Finals – a basketball tournament – will kick off.
On 2nd June, The Oaks and The Derby horse races will be held at Epsom Downs while Italy has the Rome Diamond League athletics competition. At Sheffield, there’s also a diving championship on from 2nd -4th called the British Championships.
3rd June is an extra-special day for football fans everywhere! Not only do we have England playing Ireland in a Test match at Lord’s cricket ground, but Wembley Stadium and Hampden Park will host the FA Cup and Scottish Cup finals respectively. Plus at Philips Stadium in Eindhoven, it’s time for the prestigious Women’s Champions League final. Finally, rugby fans can look forward to Newcastle’s St James’ Park hosting the Magic weekend between 3rd-4th June.
On the 4th of June, there will be a Formula 1 race in Spain called Spanish Grand Prix. From 6th to 11th of June, cycling event named Women’s Tour is happening in the UK. On 7th of June, a football game titled Europa Conference League final will occur at Eden Arena in Prague. From 7th-11th of June there will be a cricket match between Australia and India taking place at The Oval which is called World Test Championship final. On 9th of June, Athletics tournament called Paris Diamond League is going to happen in France too. Another tournament from 9-20 June named Wheelchair Basketball World Championships is being held in Dubai. Additionally, from 9-25 another multi-sports tournament European Games will take place in Krakow and Małopolska, Poland as well as on 10th of June there will be Champions League finalat Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
On 10th-11th of June, there will be an event called ‘Le Mans 24 Hour Motorsport’ held in France. On 11th, a netball competition called ‘Superleague Grand Final’ is also happening. From 14th to 18th of June, there’s the ‘Nations League semi-finals and final’ football match which takes place in Netherlands. In Norway on 15th June, you can watch the ‘Oslo Diamond League Athletism’ competition. From 15th to 18th of June, a golf tournament dubbed ‘US Open’ is being held at Los Angeles Country Club in California. Women’s EuroBasket 2023 will happen between 15th – 25th June in both Israel and Slovenia while 16th of June witnesses several European championship qualifying matches including Malta vs England, Wales vs Armenia and Denmark vs Northern Ireland.
During the 16th till the 20th there will be a cricket match between England and Australia at the Edgbaston arena. Also, from the 16th to the 21st, teams from Great Britain, Spain, Netherlands, USA and Germany will play hockey against each other at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London! On that same day (17th), Scotland plays Norway in a football championship game. After that on 17 to 18th there will be rugby league quarter-finals as well. Last but not least on 18th there’s a Formula 1 Grand Prix taking place in Montreal, Canada!
From June 19 to 25, there are a lot of exciting sports events happening all around the world!
On June 19, you’ll have the chance to watch some European Championship football matches, like England vs North Macedonia and Turkey vs Wales. The same day is when Scotland will be playing against Georgia in another European Championship football match.
Then from June 20 to 24, for those who like horse racing, the Royal Ascot will take place.
If you’re into golf, then from June 22 – 26, don’t miss out on the Women’s PGA Championship in Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey.
And last but not least, on Saturday 24th , catch up with the Rugby Union Premier 15s final.
On June 24-25, you can watch a Baseball game featuring the St Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs at the London Stadium. From June 25 to July 2, the Rothesay International Tennis tournament will be held in Eastbourne. On the 26th, there’s going to be a United Rugby Championship Grand Final match. The 27th is set for the Premiership Rugby Final in Twickenham Stadium and from June 28 to July 2, London will be hosting The Second Ashes Test between England and Australia at Lord’s Cricket ground. Lausanne Diamond League Athletics are taking place in Switzerland on the 30th and on June 30 to July 2, there’ll be an exciting motorcycling event called World Superbikes UK Round going down at Donington Park.
July–The Month of Spectacular Sporting Events Around the World!
On the 1st of July there will be a cricket match between England and Australia. This is known as the Women’s Ashes and it will take place at Edgbaston. The same day there’s also the Tour de France cycling race happening and an athletics event in Stockholm, Sweden. On 3rd July, Wimbledon tennis tournament starts and then on 5th of July another cricket match takes place between England and Australia for the Women’s Ashes series at The Oval stadium. There are also two more cricket related events – T20 Blast quarter-finals on 6-7th July and Third Ashes Test between England and Australia at Headingley occurring from 6-10th July. At the same time from 6th to 9th golfers around the world will compete in US Women’s Open taking place at Pebble Beach, California.
From 8th to 17 July, a Para-Athletics Championships will be held in Paris. On 9th, Formula 1 British Grand Prix will take place in Silverstone. On 12th we could witness England play against Australia in first ODI of Women’s Ashes game at Bristol. A Scottish Open golf tournament is also lined up from 13th to 16th in North Berwick. From 14th to 30th, swimmers from all over the world would compete against each other in World Aquatics Championships at Fukuoka in Japan. Then, on 15th its time for T20 Cricket Blast Finals Day taking place at Edgbaston. Lastly, on 16th the second ODI of England vs Australia Women’s Ashes will be commence at Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
On the 16th, there will be athletics competitions in Silesia, Poland. On the 18th there’s a cricket match between England and Australia in Taunton. From the 19th to 23rd, England and Australia will have their fourth test match at Old Trafford. From the 20th of July to the 20th of August, there is the Women’s World Cup that is happening in Australia and New Zealand. On the 21st, Monaco holds its own Diamond League of athletics while on the same day they will also hold semi-finals for Rugby League in Challenge Cup matches. Lastly on the 23rd you’ll be able to find an athletics tournament within London Diamond League as well as a special golf tourney at Royal Liverpool Hoylake adjacent to it.
From July 23rd to the end of August, some exciting events are happening around the world. On July 23rd, the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix will take place in Budapest. There’s also a Women’s Tour de France cycling event from the 23rd until the 30th. The UK Athletics Championships are on from July 27th to the 29th at Manchester Regional Arena. From July 27th to the 30th, there’ll be a major golf tournament for women held in Evian-Les-Bains, France – known as the Evian Championship. The Fifth Ashes Cricket Test between England and Australia is on from 27th to 31st at The Oval. Netball World Cup will happen in Cape Town, South Africa from 28th of July till 6th of August and Archery World Championships take place in Berlin during that same time period too! Finally, Shanghai Diamond League Athletics will be taking place on July 29th – you don’t want to miss that!
On the 29th and 30th of this month, the Triathlon World Championship Series will be held at Roker Beach in Sunderland. On the 30th, the Belgian Grand Prix for Formula 1 will take place at Spa-Francorchamps. This month we have some awesome sports events from all over the world. On 1st to 27th of September, Cricket fans can catch ‘The Hundred’ competition. Athletics lovers can visit China for the Shenzhen Diamond League on 3rd of September. The World Championships for Cycling is happening in Glasgow from 3rd to 13th September as well. Motorcycling enthusiasts should go watch The British MotoGP event at Silverstone starting 4th through 6th of this month. Wales v England Rugby Union battle will take place at Principality Stadium on 5th September. For Equestrian sport, head to Haras du Pin (France) and witness the Eventing European Championships between 9th to 13th of September. If Golf is your thing then be sure to come by Walton Heath on 10th – 20th and don’t miss out on the Women’s Open. Lastly, Sailing fanatics should make their way to The Hague (Netherlands) and check out World Championships which last from 10th – 20 September too!
To fun-loving 13-year-olds, here are some upcoming international sports events that you have to look forward to!
On the 12th of this month, there will be matches between England and Wales in Rugby Union at Twickenham. On the same day, the 2023-2024 Premier League Football season starts. There’s also going to be a men’s and women’s Rugby League Challenge Cup final held at Wembley Stadium.
From the 14th through 31st of this month, there’ll also be a shooting World Championship taking place in Azerbaijan. For Football fans out there, from 15th to 16th of this month you can watch Women’s World Cup semi-finals being played by teams from Australia and New Zealand. Then around 18th til 27th expect a EuroHockey Championship series in Germany’s Monchengladbach. Lastly on 19th, Wales will face South Africa in an epic Rugby Union battle at Principality Stadium while Budapest hosts a 10-day Athletics World Championship competition!
On July 20th, the Women’s World Cup final will occur in Sydney, Australia. From July 22nd-28th, the Modern Pentathlon World Championships take place in Bath. Over in Duisburg, Germany from July 23rd-27th is the Canoeing Sprint World Championship. The PGA Tour Championship will be at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta from July 24th-27th. On August 25th, New Zealand plays South Africa in Rugby Union match at Twickenham and that same day and 29th are playing quarterfinals of One-Day Cup cricket game. Finally the Men’s Basketball World Cup spanning between August 25th to September 10th is taking place across Indonesia, Japan, and Philippines. Lastly on August 26th England vs. Fiji takes part at Twickenham for a Rugby Union game.
From August 26th to 17th September, there’s going to be a cycling race called Vuelta Espana. On 27th, there’s Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. From 28th August till 10th September, US Open Tennis Championship is taking place in New York. There’s also Equestrian European Jumping Championships from 29th August till 3rd September held in Milan, Italy. On 30th of August, England and New Zealand are playing their first T20 International Cricket Match in Chester-le-Street. Finally on 31st of August, Zurich Diamond League athletics meet takes place in Switzerland.
England’s Got Talent
In the upcoming weeks, England has three cricket matches. The first will be a men’s T20 international against New Zealand at Old Trafford, followed by a women’s T20 match against Sri Lanka at Chelmsford. Lastly, there’ll be another men’s T20 game against New Zealand at Edgbaston. Additionally, the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix is happening in Monza on the same day while the World Championships of weightlifting are being held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), rowing in Belgrade (Serbia), and cycling in Tour of Britain -all between 3rd-10th September.
On August 4th to 10th, there’s a Equestrian Championship in Riesenbeck, Germany where people compete in Dressage and Para-dressage. Also, on the same day England is playing against New Zealand in their fourth T20 international at Trent Bridge. On August 5th, England will again play against Sri Lanka in a women’s T20 match which will be held at Derby.
6th of August brings some Football action as Ukraine takes on England and Slovenia plays Northern Ireland while Scotland clashes with Cyprus on the 8th. Lastly, Cardiff hosts the first one-day International match that pits England against New Zealand on the 8th as well.
The month of September and October are filled with a lot of sporting events. On 8th Sept, the Brussels Diamond League Athletics event will be held in Belgium. France is hosting the World Cup Rugby Union tournament from 8th Sept to 28th Oct. On 9th Sept is the Third Women’s International T20 Cricket match between England and Sri Lanka which is taking place at Chester-le-Street. From 9th to 16th there’s an Invictus Games multi-sports event in Dusseldorf, Germany. The second one day international cricket match between England and New Zealand shall take place on 10th Sept at Ageas Bowl, Southampton. On the same day, there’s European Championship qualifying Football matches including Kazakhstan v Northern Ireland and Great North Run Athletics event in Newcastle .
On the 11th, there’s a game called European Championship qualifying that includes Latvia vs. Wales. From 11th till 17th, Tennis Davis Cup group stage will take place. On 12th, England and Scotland are competing at Hampden Park in a game to celebrate their 150th anniversary.
On 13th, third one-day cricket match between England and New Zealand is taking place at The Oval while first women’s one-day international between England and Sri Lanka is taking place on 14th in Leicester. At the same time (14-17), PGA Championship golf event would be held in Wentworth whereas 15th has a fourth one-day cricket series between England and New Zealand happening at Lord’s.
From 15th-17th of this month, qualifying for the Davis Cup in Tennis will be going on. On the same two days (16th and 17th) there’s a Final event in Athletics taking place in Eugene, USA. That same day (17th), a Women’s One-Day International Cricket match between England and Sri Lanka takes place at Hove while the Singapore Grand Prix is happening concurrently in Singapore city. Additionally, Doncaster Racecourse is hosting the St Leger Stakes Horse Racing match on the 17th as well. From the 18th to 24th, opponents of all nationalities gather to participate in Laver Cup in Vancouver and from 19-24 another sports event called Canoe Slalom World Championships is being held at Lee Valley in London. Lastly, also on 19th is another Women’s One-Day International Cricket match between England and Sri Lanka which will take place at Canterbury.
This weekend (20th-26th September) there will be lots of exciting sports events happening. On Saturday the 20th, England and Ireland are playing a One-Day International Cricket match in Headingley. Then Sunday the 21st is the Semi-Finals of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for cricket. At the same time on Sunday, there’s also a Golf tournament called the Solheim Cup in Malaga, Spain. Monday will then have another One-Day International Cricket match between England and Ireland, this time at Trent Bridge. Tuesday will see the final match for the Rachael HeyhoeFlint Trophy being played in Northampton as well as a car race in Suzuka, Japan known as Formula 1’s Japanese Grand prix and an Athletic event – The Berlin Marathon. Finally on Wednesday 26th it will be the third One-Day international Cricket game between England and Ireland but this time taking place at Bristol.
From September 26-29, you can watch the last rounds of the cricket County Championship. On September 29 and 30, go watch the Rugby League Super League eliminators. From Sepetember 29 to October 1, take part in golf’s Ryder Cup event at Marco Simone Golf Club located in Rome. From September 29 to October 8, catch some gymnastics World Artistic Championships action in Antwerp, Belgium. Lastly, on September 30 to October 1 don’t miss out on the World Road Running Championships being held in Riga, Latvia!

The 22nd day of the month: Formula 1’s United States Grand Prix which is held in Austin this year.
And on the 29th day of the month: Formula 1’s Mexican Grand Prix happens in Mexico City.
Worldwide Sports Events From the 5th
From the 5th till 12th of November, a lot of exciting sports events will take place in different parts of the world.
On the 3rd-5th, Judo European Championship will be held in Montpellier (France).
The same day, Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix will be happening in Sao Paulo, and Athletics New York City Marathon too.
For 9th to 12th there’ll be World Trampoline & Tumbling Championships being hosted in Birmingham.
From 12th to 19th tennis lovers can enjoy ATP Finals taking place in Turin.
Additionally, on 16th-19th golf championships DP World Tour Championship and LPGA Tour Championship will happen at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai and Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort at Naples, Florida respectively.
On the 17th, England will be playing Malta and Northern Ireland faces Finland in the European Championship qualifying. On the 18th, Wales will play Armenia. Scotland will battle Norway on the 19th. North Macedonia and England meet on the 20th, same day that Northern Ireland plays Denmark. Lastly on the 21st, Wales takes on Turkey.
Additionally, on the 18th there is a Formula 1 race taking place in Las Vegas for United States Grand Prix.
From November 21st to 26th, you can watch the Davis Cup finals for tennis in Malaga. From November 25th to December 3rd, you can cheer for your favorite players in York Barbican during the UK Championship for snooker. Last but not least, on the 26th of November catch the exciting Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in Yas Marina for a fantastic round of Formula 1 racing!
European Cross Country Championships and the London International Horse Show – An Exciting 10 Day Stretch in Europe!
From the 10th to the 18th of December, there will be two major sports events held in Europe. The first one is called “Athletics – European Cross Country Championships” and it will take place in Brussels. The second event is an equestrian show, “London International Horse Show”.
