James Tavernier scored his 99th and 100th goals for the Rangers club, almost adding a 101st. However, Celtic looked like they were about to win 3-1 until Rangers made a big push and tried their best to get at least a draw. Kyogo Fires Celtic to Victory

When people talk about tricky goals and entertaining players, each generation of Celtic fans have their own top pick. For the older fans, it’s Jimmy Johnstone. For those around when Henrik Larsson played, they’ll say he was the best. If you weren’t around then, Kyogo is probably your man!

Celtic’s Japanese leviathan has been an amazing addition to their team. In the January, he scored a goal late in the game at Ibrox that kept Rangers from winning. Then in the League Cup final, his two goals allowed Celtic to take home the trophy. And today he scored two more goals that set up Celtic for a 12-point lead over Rangers. All these successes and touchdowns have made the Celtic fans really happy!

It was difficult for Ange Postecoglou’s team before Kyogo scored. Rangers began the game with nothing to be worried about and were aggressive, not giving Home Team a chance to gain any speed.

When asked if they had a trophy with them Ange played down the idea of winning titles.

Before the match had even started, Rangers scored a goal, but it was taken away by VAR due to a push on Alistair Johnston that wasn’t very hard. Everyone at Rangers felt bad about this and their sorrow intensified shortly after.

Kyogo looked really powerful and was about to score a goal but it got disallowed for being offside. Rangers had been warned, if Kyogo gets too much space he will take advantage and make sure the other team pay for their carelessness.

He can score in many different ways because of how quickly he thinks on his feet which confuses those players who have to keep an eye on him.

Matt O’Riley did a great job dribbling down the left. But what really made the goal possible was Kyogo’s quick thinking and split-second decision-making. He saw an opening between Ben Davies and him, so he moved into it and soon after pointed to where he needed O’Riley to deliver the ball. Kyogo turned around quickly, but by then it was too late for Ben Davies to do anything.

Sport is all about playing at needs’ highest level and easily noticing little details. In this case, one short mistake by Davies gave Kyogo the perfect opportunity to strike back – and he used it perfectly.

Kyogo Shines

For the Rangers, this was a situation they were all too familiar with. During three games at Celtic Park when their coach Postecoglou was around, his team had scored eight goals against Celtic–seven of them during the first half alone. An impressive feat that made it eight out of nine total goals scored.

Rangers did a really good job in the face of adversity. They took an amazing free-kick to tie the game and caused Celtic lots of trouble, with Alfredo Morelos missing a chance and Joe Hart making a great save early in the second half. Todd Cantwell had an opportunity but didn’t take advantage of it. Even through all this, Celtic stayed strong and worked their way through.

When Kyogo scored the third goal, everyone was really excited but not that surprised. Davies messed up his pass and Kyogo managed to capitalize on it. He shot, and the ball went in – it seemed like he couldn’t miss!

Postecoglou, his manager, talks about Kyogo with enthusiasm and admiration. He admires the way he works for the team and never has to remind him to be motivated. Postecoglou also mentions how kind Kyogo is and how he always has a smile on his face. Even though he’s deeply kind-hearted, don’t forget he’s still competitive too! Everyone knows how strong of a player Kyogo is.

Rangers had a lot of opportunities to score, but eventually gave up too many goals to Celtic. First, Jota scored after Souttar made a mistake, which sent the whole stadium into an uproar. Later on, Tavernier managed to score one goal, but Rangers couldn’t score any more and ended up losing the game.

The Rangers’ manager has done great recently; he’s won 18 out of 21 games since joining. Still, it’s not that hard to remember which teams his two losses and draw were against.

Kyogo is making a huge difference in both the Celtic and Rangers teams. He’s so liked by Celtic fans that they don’t want him to leave any time soon. Kyogo looked really happy to be playing, like he was in heaven!
