The Barça women have ended 2021 in splendid fashion with a 7-0 defeat of Madrid CFF. It means they have hit the festive break with a perfect record of 15 wins in 15 games in the Liga Iberdrola.
It took just 12 minutes for Alexia Putellas to put the blaugrana ahead and ten minutes later a cheeky chip from Graham ended up with visiting keeper Ulloa putting the ball in her won net.
Jennifer Hermoso pounced on a rebound to make it three and a Martens goal straight from the restart meant the team would be going in for the break with the job already done.
There were still three more goals to come in the second half. Alexia converted a penalty and shortly after was celebrating her hat-trick.
With Melanie on as a sub in her 500th game for the team, Leila then made it seven to round off a quite spectacular year for the Barça women.
