Mason Mount is officially a Red Devil, having signed a five-year contract with Manchester United, with the potential to extend for another year.
The decision to depart his lifelong team Chelsea was influenced by Erik ten Hag’s forward-thinking plans for Manchester United, explained Mount.
At the age of 24, the midfielder is the first summer acquisition by Ten Hag, with the transfer deal initially costing £55m, plus a potential £5m in additional fees.
