Rory McIlroy recently tried to get the career Grand Slam at the Masters but sadly didn’t make it because he was two shots away from making the cut. Thus, he has decided not to compete in this week’s PGA Tour event at Hilton Head, South Carolina which is one of the Tour’s designated competitions.
Golfers who rank themselves in the top 20 of a special ranking system, called the ‘Player Impact Program’, get to miss only one tournament during the season. Rory McIlroy already missed out on the season-opening tournament, and this might cost him bonus money from the Player Impact Program which he earned last year which amounted to £7.5 million.
Former world number one golfer Jason Day decided not to play this week. If Rory McIlroy wins the Masters tournament, he will be part of an elite group of people who have won all four big golf titles. Over the last 10 months, he has won four other professional tournaments and many people believe now that he’ll gain immortality in golf by finally winning the Masters.
After missing the cut in his game, McIlroy decided to not answer any questions in a post-round interview. Additionally, we will look into Andrew Tate’s life as a social media personality who has a multi-level marketing business and webcam company. We’ll also investigate the life of John Palmer, jeweller turned criminal with its own podcast named: Gangster: The Story of John Palmer.
