Summanen has been capped by Finland on 34 occasions while she has scored four goals. The player has been a regular starter for Finland in their UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 qualifying campaigns.
After completing her move to Spurs, Summanen said “It’s a dream to sign for Tottenham Hotspur, I’m very proud to be a Spurs player. The Club has big ambitions and I’m incredibly happy to be a part of the next stage of the journey here. Summanen has been handed the number 24 shirt by Spurs and she could make her debut for the club against West Ham United at the weekend should international clearance be obtained.
