Mo Farah recently competed in the Big Half – a half marathon event in London on September 2022. He came seventh, and finished in 30 minutes and 41 seconds. 15 days before London Marathon he also competed in a 10km race in Gabon called Port-Gentil where Kenyan runner Vincent Kipkemoi was the winner with 28 minutes and 11 seconds. In January Mo Farah announced that 2023 will be his final year of racing before he eventually retires emotionally from racing.

Due to injury, Farah will miss the 2022 London Marathon but he’s running in this year’s marathon. This is going to be his last time taking part in this marathon and he has big competition – four of the fastest runners ever! The 2023 London Marathon will be shown on TV, iPlayer and online so everyone can watch.
