Mendy records 31 shutouts in 75 games with Chelsea in the Premier League
Edouard Mendy, the esteemed Senegalese goalkeeper, is leaving Chelsea after a three-year stint to sign with Al-Ahli, a team in the Saudi Pro League.
Mendy, aged 31, joins the ranks of high-profile players relocating to Saudi Arabia. This includes his former Chelsea teammates, Kalidou Koulibaly and N’Golo Kante, who transferred during this window.
In the 2020-21 season, he claimed the Champions League title and registered 49 shutouts in a total of 105 matches.
