Barcelona couldn’t beat Girona and so they don’t have a 15 point lead at the top of their La Liga standings anymore.
Paulo Gazzaniga from Fulham was the goalkeeper for Girona and he blocked some good shots by Raphinha that could’ve caused Barcelona to win. Then, Taty Castellanos missed a goal chance when he had a clear shot.
This is only the third time this season where Barcelona dropped points playing at home!
Despite not winning, Xavi’s team was still able to increase their lead over Real Madrid by 13 points after they were defeated by Villarreal on Sunday.
