Karim Benzema scored an amazing hat-trick for Real Madrid in their match against Barcelona! He scored two goals early in the second half and then sealed the win with a 3rd goal in the 80th minute. As a result, Real Madrid made it to the Copa del Rey Final which will be held on May 6th against Osasuna.
Barcelona was doing well in the first half of the match at the Nou Camp, but it actually helped Real Madrid to score their first goal. After goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois managed to stop Robert Lewandowski’s try, Madrid went on a fast counter attack. Vinicius then received a pass from Benzema and scored into the bottom corner of Barcelona’s net.
Five minutes after the break, Madrid were winning because Luka Modric sent a pass and Benzema scored from outside the box. Xavi’s team was in trouble when Franck Kessie fouled Vinicius inside the penalty area, so Benzema converted the penalty kick and increased Madrid’s lead.
Ten minutes before the match ended, France’s striker scored his third goal. This happened because the Madrid team quickly launched a counter-attack, led by Vinicius, when Barcelona had sent their players forward in order to try and get back into the game. This was the second time that Benzema achieved a hat-trick in two games – he also scored three goals last Sunday against Real Valladolid.

Before the second leg of a competition, Madrid was one goal behind, very far in La Liga, and had lost their last three matches against their rivals. Just when it appeared Barcelona had the game won, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior scored a goal in stoppage time in the first half. This changed everything! After halftime, Madrid had new energy and confidence, so much that Barcelona couldn’t do anything against them. Ultimately, with Vinicius’ 20th goal of the season, Real Madrid got ahead.
The team have a chance of winning the league title for the first time since 2019 and they already won the Spanish Super Cup. To make it even better, the aim is to win Champions League twice in a row and also their first Copa del Rey trophy in nine years. At 59 minutes, Ansu Fatiat was substituted by Kessié, Busquets came after that, and at 10 minutes Roberto got booked. Then Raphinha replaced F Torres at 66 minutes and he also got booked at 76 minutes. After him was Lewandowski, then Gavi which got booked at 26 minutes.

Militão got booked at 88 minutes along with Alaba who got booked at 86 minutes. Twelve Camavinga and Fifteen Valverde played too. Kroos and Modric were also there with Modric substituting for Tchouaméniat in 87th minute while Rodrygo substituted for Asensio at 73rd minute. Lastly, Benzema substituted for Nacho at 89th minute.
Vinícius Júnior entered the game after 26 minutes and was substituted for Ceballos at 85 minutes.
