With world number three Rahm bowing out, the league still boasts a lineup of 14 top-20 rankers ready to put on a 15-week show, culminating in knockouts and a trio of finals to crown the champions.
Joining the golf stars, two-time major victors Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa have been drafted. Thomas will bring his A-game to Atlanta Drive GC, and Morikawa will swing for Los Angeles Golf Club, under the patronage of tennis legends Serena and Venus Williams.
Not to be left out of the sports-meets-business synergy, basketball icon Stephen Curry is bankrolling the San Francisco outfit, while the New York Mets’ Steve Cohen is steering the New York team in the TGL.
The lineup’s sixth and final team is shrouded in mystery, awaiting a grand reveal.
